Travel Creator KwakTube Announces Double Celebration: Expecting Father Buys Gifts for Newborn with Chincalman

Travel creator KwakTube (Kwak Jun-bin), who recently announced his marriage and pregnancy, has revealed another joyous occasion within his family.

A YouTube video titled 'Kwak Jun-bin Buys Gifts for Newborn' was uploaded to the 'Chincalman' channel on the 2nd. In the video, KwakTube, along with Chincalman and his sister Lee Se-hwa (Tongdak Cheonsa), participated in a live broadcast.

KwakTube shared a humorous anecdote, stating, "I didn't know, but a clip of me saying 'I will get married in 2 years' that I made here 2 years ago became famous. I keep my word. It wasn't planned, but what wasn't happening was that I also said this in 2022 and 2021, 'I will get married in 2 years.' I always said 'I will get married in 2 years.' Even when I first appeared on 'Turkiz on the Block,' I said, 'I plan to get married in 2 years.' But instead, I only predicted it once a year."

Chincalman commented, "It seems like there's power in words. By consistently saying it." KwakTube added, "I wasn't just saying it recklessly; I always wanted to get married early. I wanted to start a family quickly."

When asked by Lee Se-hwa, "How did you feel when you heard about the baby?" KwakTube replied, "I was almost moved to tears, honestly. My desire to have a child was so strong."

He then surprised everyone by revealing, "Do you guys happen to have a baby too?" Lee Se-hwa exclaimed, "It's a double celebration!" KwakTube further explained, "And my brother's side made an effort. So for them, it's twice the celebration. They were trying, and it happened to work out at the same time."

Chincalman predicted, "The Royal Kwak family must be in a festive mood." KwakTube confirmed, "That's right. I'm in deep 고민 (trouble) now. It's really hard to come up with names for the Kwak surname, and now I have to name two people! I haven't named them yet."

Chincalman offered, "Shall I help?" KwakTube responded, "Before, I used to do it as a joke, but now I have to use real names. But I can't use funny names like Kwak Yu-bi, Kwak Jang-bi, or Kwak Jo-jo. Don't suggest things like 'Don't name it Kwak Jeong.'"

He elaborated on his naming process: "The gender isn't out yet, so I have to prepare names for both a son and a daughter. I tried naming them myself. I thought of cool names. Kwak Cheol. I think I've benefited a lot from my name, Kwak Jun-bin. Even at the hospital, although it's because I'm famous now, people look when they hear 'Kwak Jun-bin.' Having a unique name has its advantages. I liked it since I was young. Everyone knows who Kwak Jun-bin is."

He continued, "Many people with unusual surnames tend to give their children common names, but I want a name that is unique and cool. So, I'm thinking very hard about it." He added, "People say the surname Kwak is strange, but if you combine it with trendy baby names these days, it matches really well. For example, if it's a son, 'Kwak Do-yun' fits so well. If it's a daughter, although I see her a lot, 'Kwak Do-ah.'" he said, showing his serious contemplation over his future child's name.

Meanwhile, KwakTube is set to tie the knot on the 11th at a hotel in Yeouido, Seoul. His fiancée is a public servant five years his junior. The wedding was originally planned for May next year, but they decided to move the date forward upon discovering the pregnancy during their wedding preparations.
