Lee Chang-sub, a member of the popular K-pop group BTOB, revealed that he has 'sons born from his heart,' drawing attention from fans and viewers.

During the MBC broadcast of '2025 Idol Star Athletics Championships' on the 6th, Lee Chang-sub appeared as a penalty shootout MC alongside Lee Eun-ji, Jonathan, and Park Moon-sung.

While commentating on the quarterfinals match between the teams Ahop and Lucy, Lee Eun-ji introduced Ahop as 'rookies who debuted on July 1st.' In response, Lee Chang-sub affectionately stated, 'They are my sons born from my heart.'

This sentiment stems from his role as a coach for Team Groove in the SBS show 'Universe League,' where he personally guided the formation of the group Ahop. Seeing them again at the 'Idol Star Athletics Championships' and referring to them as 'those born from my heart' added a heartwarming touch to the broadcast.

Unfortunately, Ahop was defeated by Lucy in the penalty shootout during the competition.

Korean netizens reacted warmly, with comments like 'Lee Chang-sub truly seems like a leader,' and 'The Ahop members must feel so lucky,' praising his affectionate gesture.
