Jang Na-ra's First 'House on Wheels' Trip: Panic at Sea as Husband Becomes Unreachable
In the premiere episode of tvN's 'House on Wheels Over the Sea: Hokkaido', Jang Na-ra, the new owner of the mobile home, shared her initial anxieties and a humorous anecdote about being unable to contact her husband while on a ferry to Japan.
The first broadcast of 'House on Wheels Over the Sea: Hokkaido' aired on the evening of the 12th.
Jang Na-ra candidly expressed her nervousness about taking on the role of the new 'House on Wheels' owner. She admitted, "Even when I'm just sitting, the thought of leaving makes my blood rush. I've never done this before," revealing her concerns about her lack of experience in camping, fixed entertainment shows, and long journeys.
While describing her situation as "chaos of confusion," she also conveyed her excitement, stating, "Despite that, I think it will be fun once I get there." She also brought laughter by mentioning her husband's strong support, saying, "I think my husband will get along well with me too."
The cast embarked on a unique journey to Japan by ferry instead of plane, to transport the 'House on Wheels'. Upon arrival, Jang Na-ra recounted a touching story from her newlywed life experienced during this voyage.
"I was flustered because I couldn't reach my husband by phone," Jang Na-ra revealed, detailing the difficulties faced on the ferry. Due to weak signals at sea, she temporarily lost contact with her husband. The fact that a Japan travel notification text arrived exactly when they crossed the maritime border hinted that the communication blackout was more than just a simple disconnection.
Korean netizens reacted positively to the broadcast, commenting, "So excited for Jang Na-ra's appearance on a variety show!", "It's her first fixed variety show after marriage, she'll do great!", and "It must be reassuring to have her husband's support."
