Jang Na-ra Praises Sung Dong-il's Teppanyaki Steak: 'No Vegetables Needed!'
During the latest episode of tvN's 'House on Wheels Over the Sea: Hokkaido,' Jang Na-ra expressed her awe at Sung Dong-il's teppanyaki steak.
The broadcast on the 19th featured the 'three siblings' Sung Dong-il, Kim Hee-won, and Jang Na-ra embarking on their journey with their first guests, Uhm Tae-goo and Shin Eun-soo.
Sung Dong-il started grilling beef steak on an outdoor teppan. As the meat cooked, the delicious aroma filled the air, prompting Shin Eun-soo to exclaim, "The smell is so good!" Uhm Tae-goo actively participated by picking fresh rosemary on the spot and adding it to the sizzling steak, enhancing its flavor. Jang Na-ra, upon smelling the rosemary, smiled with satisfaction, noting, "The aroma has gotten better."
Seeing Jang Na-ra waiting with a plate, Sung Dong-il couldn't hide his delight, remarking, "Isn't our Nara standing so beautifully?" adding warmth to the atmosphere. After tasting the steak, Jang Na-ra nodded and declared, "I don't need any vegetables," praising its perfect seasoning. Her honest critique resonated with everyone.
Sung Dong-il didn't stop there, suggesting, "Let's stir-fry rice on this later, with some of the seaweed Nara brought," building anticipation for the next menu: kimchi fried rice.
Netizens commented, 'Jang Na-ra's mukbang is so enjoyable,' 'I'm curious about Chef Sung Dong-il's recipe,' and 'The Hokkaido season is already fun,' expressing their excitement for future episodes.
