&TEAM's EJ Debuts as 'Inkigayo' MC, Signaling K-Pop Launch

EJ, the leader of HYBE's global group &TEAM, is set to make his first appearance as an MC on the SBS music program 'Inkigayo' on the 19th, marking a significant step as the group prepares for their K-pop debut.

Through his agency, XOXO Labels, EJ expressed his honor and gratitude: "It's a great honor and I'm thankful to be hosting 'Inkigayo'. I feel a great sense of responsibility as I'll be introducing the stages of various artists every week. I'll do my best to show a good side to our fandom 'LUNÉ' and the viewers who have been supporting us."

As the sole Korean member and leader of &TEAM, EJ will co-host the show with Shin Yu of TWS and Lee Seo of IVE. He is expected to energize the studio atmosphere with his signature bright and warm energy, serving as a bridge between the various performers and the audience.

Meanwhile, &TEAM is slated to officially enter the K-pop scene with the release of their first Korean mini-album, 'Back to Life,' on the 28th. Having debuted in Japan in 2022, the group recently achieved over 1 million cumulative shipments for their third single 'Go in Blind,' earning a 'Million Certification' from the Recording Industry Association of Japan as of July.
