Kim Jong-kook Visits Son Heung-min in LA After Wedding Video Deletion
Singer Kim Jong-kook has shared his recent activities by revealing his meeting with national football player Son Heung-min, following the deletion of his wedding video.
Kim uploaded a video titled 'I'm sorry, Heung-min.. Speed comes from the legs (Feat. Son Heung-min. LAFC)' to his YouTube channel 'Gym Jong-kook.' He accompanied the video with a caption expressing his excitement: 'Finally, Korea's captain Son Heung-min! I went to watch our Heung-min's game live. Son Heung-min, who has left behind an incredible career and records, has moved to the US for a new beginning! Witnessing the match in person was an even more heartwarming experience. Everyone, speed doesn't come from your back.. it comes from your legs! I apologize.'
In the video, Kim documented his trip to LA to watch the match. He stated, 'I'm working out at the airport before leaving. I'll rest for a few days and then head to LA to see our Heung-min, who's been playing incredibly well. I couldn't make it to his games when he was in England, but since he transferred to LAFC, I had to come here.'
Kim added, 'I didn't contact him separately. I'm going as a fan to cheer for Heung-min. I visit LA often and love the city, so I plan to cheer for Heung-min along with other Koreans who might be here,' revealing his spontaneous visit.
Kim attended the LAFC match, cheering for Son Heung-min alongside many local fans. After the game, he had a chance encounter with Son Heung-min while the players and staff were training. Kim called out, 'Heung-min!', and Son Heung-min, surprised, greeted him warmly.
The two shared hugs, catching up and exchanging jokes. Son Heung-min playfully remarked, 'You always make me feel awkward when you appear on broadcasts,' to which Kim humorously replied, 'Go exercise,' eliciting laughter.
Meanwhile, after his closely guarded wedding ceremony, Kim recently uploaded a honeymoon video to YouTube. However, he deleted the video after a silhouette, presumed to be his wife, was spotted. Regarding this, Kim previously stated, 'Sometimes in life, unexpected troubles or unfair situations arise.'
Following the deletion of his wedding video, fans reacted positively to Kim Jong-kook's update, with comments like 'Finally, the international meeting happened!', 'It's great that Kim Jong-kook is also going to watch Son Heung-min's game,' and 'I was curious about why the video was deleted, but it's nice to get an update like this.'
