Girl group ILLIT has achieved a significant win, securing two awards at Japan's most prestigious creative awards ceremony, the '2025 ACC Tokyo Creativity Awards'.
According to Belif Lab, the brand films for ILLIT's 2nd mini album 'I'LL LIKE YOU' and 3rd mini album 'bomb' were honored with a Gold award and a Bronze award, respectively, in the Film Craft category.
The 'ACC Tokyo Creativity Awards', often referred to as the 'Cannes Lions of Japan', boasts a long history and high authority within the Japanese advertising and creative industries, recognizing innovative works across various fields like advertising, media, and design.
The Gold award-winning brand film for the 2nd mini album captivated audiences with its unique visuals that blend reality and fantasy, alongside the members' progressive message of forging their own path, receiving widespread acclaim.
The Bronze award-winning brand film for the 3rd mini album, which also serves as the music video for 'little monster', was praised for its sophisticated direction reinterpreting the magical girl concept and its heartwarming message. This particular film had previously earned a Silver award for Production Design at the German '2025 CICLOPE Awards'.
ILLIT's content is increasingly gaining recognition not just at music award shows but also at international film festivals and creativity awards, highlighting their growing influence in visual storytelling.
Looking ahead, ILLIT is set to make a comeback with a new album in November. They will also meet their fans, known as GLIT, at the fan concert '2025 ILLIT GLITTER DAY ENCORE' held at the Olympic Hall in Seoul on November 8-9. The encore performance follows sold-out shows in Korea and Japan, demonstrating their strong ticket-selling power.
Korean netizens expressed pride, commenting, 'ILLIT's film quality was already recognized,' 'It's so proud they've won awards like this!', and 'They're becoming global artists not just through music, but also visuals.'
