The 'Bichina' Foundation, established by the family of the late SHINee member Jonghyun, is set to host a special busking performance titled 'HELLO DAY' to support aspiring young artists.
The foundation announced that 'HELLO DAY : BUSKING' will take place on Saturday, October 25th, at 3 PM at the Mulbit Stage in Yeouido Hangang Park, Seoul. This event aims to shine a spotlight on and encourage young musicians and performers.
'HELLO DAY' is an annual concert series initiated by the non-profit public foundation 'Bichina' in 2023, marking its third year. Since its establishment in 2018, the foundation has been actively involved in various public interest activities, including psychological counseling and support for artists.
Kim So-dam, the administrative director of 'Bichina' and the elder sister of the late Jonghyun, stated, "The 'Bichina' Foundation, established with royalties from Jonghyun, now aims to be a 'light' that illuminates young artists. We hope 'HELLO DAY', a stage for initial encounters where artists and audiences greet and get to know each other, will foster warmer connections with more people."
Comedian and actor Kim Gook-jin will host the event, using his signature blend of wit and sincerity to introduce the young performers to the audience and guide the overall atmosphere of the concert with warmth and energy.
The lineup features students from Seoul Practical Music High School and Hanlim Multi Art School, alongside talented young artists such as gugak singer Han Seo-rin, band VINCITY, Shin Seol-hee, Joo Ro-ki, singer-songwriter Park Pil-gyu, and Han Hee-jun, promising a diverse and enriching stage.
Adding to the excitement, R&B vocalist BUMKEY, known for his hit songs like 'Play Me', 'Crazy Love', and 'Here and There', will make a special guest appearance, further enhancing the quality of the performance.
The 'HELLO DAY : BUSKING' concert is open to the public for free. A 'Hello Moment' photo booth will also be available free of charge on-site.
