Actress Kim Da-mi has added another successful chapter to her filmography with the conclusion of the JTBC weekend drama 'Hundred Years of Memory'.

The final episode, aired on October 19th, depicted the story of Go Young-ye (played by Kim Da-mi), who ultimately protected both her friendships and love amidst life's twists and turns. At the heart of the narrative, Kim Da-mi masterfully completed Go Young-ye's journey of friendship and love, illuminating 'Hundred Years of Memory' as it ended with its highest viewership ratings.

In the finale, Go Young-ye competed fairly with her friend Seo Jong-hee (Shin Ye-eun) in the Miss Korea pageant and sincerely congratulated her friend on winning the 'jin' title. The two friends reminisced about their past and confirmed their true feelings for each other. However, fate intervened with a tragic accident, and Go Young-ye was stabbed while saving Seo Jong-hee. By the side of the unconscious Go Young-ye were her family, her lover Han Jae-pil (Go Nam-joon), and her friend Seo Jong-hee. Amidst everyone's earnest wishes, Go Young-ye awoke. The story then followed Go Young-ye achieving her dream of entering university with the support of her friends and lover. It was a happy ending where Go Young-ye protected both love and friendship, continuing her daily life with them.

In 'Hundred Years of Memory,' Kim Da-mi perfectly embodied the 80s retro sensibility, portraying the face of a shining youth from that era. As Go Young-ye, the eldest daughter responsible for her family's livelihood as a bus conductor on the No. 100 bus, she was both spirited and lovable. Despite her arduous work, she didn't give up on her studies, cherished her friendships, felt fluttered by fateful love, and experienced heartbreak when it turned out to be unrequited. Kim Da-mi deeply portrayed the narrative of Go Young-ye, a youth who experienced pain and grew through friendship and love. By delicately expressing diverse emotions and intricate relationships, she once again proved her worth through this project.

Having risen to stardom as a 'monster rookie' with her debut in the film 'The Witch,' Kim Da-mi has continued her successful career with dramas like 'Itaewon Class,' 'Our Beloved Summer,' and 'Nine Puzzle.' She has consistently showcased outstanding acting skills across various genres and characters, leaving her mark in every project. In 'Hundred Years of Memory,' she depicted the brilliant narrative of youth set in the 1980s, once again allowing viewers to appreciate actress Kim Da-mi's charm and acting prowess. Reactions suggest that the innocent yet strong charm of Go Young-ye shone even brighter when embodied by Kim Da-mi.

Kim Da-mi's transformations continue. She will meet audiences again with the Netflix film 'Blackout,' scheduled for release on December 19th. 'Blackout' is an SF disaster blockbuster depicting the struggle for survival of a group of people in a flooded apartment on the last day of humanity, facing a great flood. Kim Da-mi will play the role of Anna, an AI researcher, showcasing a performance of utmost dedication.

Following the drama's finale, viewers commented, 'Kim Da-mi's acting is insane,' 'It felt like the 80s were perfectly captured,' and 'Looking forward to her next project,' expressing their anticipation for her skills and future endeavors.
