KARD's BM Drops Second EP 'PO:INT', Unveiling Fantastical Soundscape with B.I Feature

Global K-pop group KARD member BM is set to captivate listeners with his musical fantasy as his second EP, 'PO:INT,' is released today (20th) at 6 PM on various music platforms.

The title track, 'Freak (feat. B.I),' is built upon the Amapiano genre, blending dreamy pluck sounds with flute samples over an upbeat drum rhythm, creating an ethereal sensation as if floating through a dream. It depicts a dangerous yet alluring night where reality and fantasy intertwine, drawing listeners into an irresistible temptation with BM's signature fatalistic fantasy.

BM showcases his evolved musical prowess by directly participating in the lyrics, composition, and arrangement for the entire album. The collaboration is further heightened by the featured vocals of artist B.I, promising an exceptional synergy.

The music video, released alongside the audio, begins with BM checking into 'THE FREAKY HOTEL.' The narrative unfolds as he becomes instantly captivated by the hotel receptionist, leading to a 'FREAKY FANTASY' shared between them.

In addition to the title track, 'PO:INT' features a total of six songs. 'Ooh' pays homage to 50 Cent's 'P.I.M.P.,' evoking a 2000s R&B vibe. 'View' romantically expresses a confession of love within a sophisticated groove. 'Move' explores the temptation of an endless night with an addictive house rhythm. 'Stay Mad' declares BM's distinct identity with the message 'No one can stop me.' The EP also includes the instrumental version of the title track, 'Freak (feat. B.I) (Inst.).'

'PO:INT' marks BM's first EP release in approximately 1 year and 5 months since his debut EP 'Element' in May of last year. As the executive producer, BM steered the album's creation, capturing his most honest and bold confession on the edge of ecstasy and ruin. Through 'PO:INT,' BM reveals his destructive yet captivating duality across various genres, encompassing sensual temptation over upbeat rhythms, intense retro-inspired tension, excitement and confession towards a muse, dreamlike moments created by endless stimulation, and a powerful energy declaring his identity.
