Lee Chun-hee Shares Update on Adolescent Daughter: 'Creating Memories Together is What Matters'

Actor Lee Chun-hee is drawing attention with a recent update on his life with his adolescent daughter.

On the 19th, Lee Chun-hee uploaded a video titled 'It's Okay if Kids are Happy Even in the Rain' to his personal YouTube channel, 'Cheon Gaemi'. In the video, Lee Chun-hee participated in a kids' event, where he entertained children with bubble play, creating a joyful atmosphere.

Despite appearing tired, Lee Chun-hee showed a warm heart towards the children, displaying his 'dad-uncle' like charm. Married to actress Jeon Hye-jin in 2011, they have a daughter named So-yu. Seeing the children at the event, he naturally brought up his daughter.

He shared, "I raised So-yu strictly. I had her sleep alone in her room from six months old, thinking it would foster independence." However, his perspective has recently shifted. "Yesterday, I took my adolescent daughter out to play, but So-yu was quite reserved. Rather than stopping because she seemed hesitant, I realized it's better to create memories together. The three of us have fun together," he added with a smile.

Recalling his life in Seoul before moving to Yangpyeong, he mentioned, "When So-yu attended a large school in our apartment complex, she seemed a bit timid. But after moving to Yangpyeong and seeing her play freely with friends every day at the playground, she completely changed. She became much brighter, and her friendships improved. I really felt how different the environment is," he said, sharing his daughter's positive transformation.
