Announcer Oh Hyo-joo Announces October 26th Wedding, Shares Joyful Plans
Announcer Oh Hyo-joo has personally shared her heartfelt feelings following her wedding announcement.
On October 20th, Oh Hyo-joo posted several photos on her social media account, sharing the happy news of her upcoming marriage.
Expressing her overwhelming emotion, she wrote, "I can't believe this day has come when I'm sharing this news." She then revealed, "I am getting married on October 26th." She briefly introduced her fiancé, stating, "I've decided to spend my life with someone who is simply fun and makes me laugh whenever we're together." She pledged, "I will live a sweet and joyful life, just like best friends, forever."
Oh Hyo-joo also requested understanding regarding the wedding ceremony size: "As the venue is small, we won't be able to invite many guests and will be having a small wedding." She added, "There were many aspects that I, being a bit scatterbrained, couldn't meticulously take care of."
Notably, addressing speculation, Oh Hyo-joo clarified, "Many people asked if I resigned to get married, but I just resigned, and getting married afterward seems more accurate." She emphasized that her departure was not for marriage. Furthermore, she added, "My desire to experience more work remains the same, and I'm preparing many things right now, so please look forward to it."
Oh Hyo-joo will be holding her wedding ceremony on the 26th of this month at a venue in Seoul. Her fiancé is known to be a civilian working in broadcasting. SBS announcer Kim Ga-hyun, a former junior colleague of Oh's, will officiate the ceremony.
Meanwhile, Oh Hyo-joo joined KBSN Sports in 2014 and covered various sports including professional volleyball (V-League), baseball, billiards, and tennis. After resigning in May, she is now working as a freelancer.
