Mukbang YouTuber Tzuyang Appears at National Assembly Audit, Tears Up Over Cyber-Slander Victimization

Mukbang YouTuber Tzuyang (Park Jung-won) made a tearful appearance as a witness at a National Assembly audit, addressing her experiences as a victim of cyber-slander.

According to the Science, ICT, Broadcasting, and Communications Committee (SICBCC), Tzuyang was called as a witness to voice her struggles and prevent future incidents. She decided to attend despite personal burdens, hoping her testimony would offer societal support and deter similar victimization.

Tzuyang was previously a victim of extortion, where YouTubers Gujeok and Jujak-gamyeolsa threatened her with revealing personal information and tax evasion allegations, demanding 55 million won. The perpetrators were subsequently sentenced to prison or probation.

In a recent variety show appearance on 'Where It Goes', Tzuyang confessed her anxieties about being a fixed cast member for the first time, admitting she worried about not being funny. MC Shin Dong-yup offered words of comfort, stating, "You don't need to be funny. Your very presence is interesting, and your eating alone brings happiness to people." Hearing this, Tzuyang became emotional, sharing, "I've become more emotional lately. I sometimes cry when I'm alone."
