Broadcaster Shin Dong-yup empathized deeply with YouTuber Tzuyang's recent confession about feeling emotional, sharing his own past struggles related to loan guarantees.

In a video released on the YouTube channel ‘Jjanhan Hyung Shin Dong-yup’ on the 21st, when Tzuyang mentioned she had been crying more often lately, Shin Dong-yup offered comfort by saying, “When you cry, if you can cry properly, you feel refreshed and clear.”

Shin Dong-yup revealed, “There was a time when I wrongly co-signed a loan, lending my name, and it became incredibly difficult.” He added, “Sometimes, after finishing a broadcast, I would receive 300 phone calls.” He confessed, “People might not know, but there were moments when I couldn’t happily broadcast,” evoking sympathy.

He continued to comfort Tzuyang, saying, “Perhaps you haven’t had much time to eat with a truly comfortable mind.” He added, “As I’ve gotten older, matured, and learned to look around at others, I realized that seeing people eat with genuine happiness makes the viewers even happier,” offering words of solace.

Shin Dong-yup has previously revealed that he incurred approximately 8 billion won in debt due to business failures and loan guarantee issues.
