TV CHOSUN's reality-documentary entertainment show 'Lovers of Joseon' unveiled the touching behind-the-scenes story of comedian Kim Byung-man's wedding, held last September, bringing viewers to tears. The episode recorded a peak viewership rating of 4.5% and a nationwide average of 3.7%, securing the top spot in its time slot.

Ahead of the wedding, Kim Byung-man shared a poignant memory of his late mother massaging his feet in a dream, which led him to visit the temple where his parents are enshrined with his family. He expressed the overwhelming emotions he felt, thinking he wished he had found a partner sooner to introduce to his parents. Comedian Kim Ji-min, who had visited her father's grave before her own wedding, related to his feelings, describing how tears welled up unexpectedly.

Captured the day before the ceremony, Kim Byung-man was seen personally decorating the outdoor aisle, even amidst heavy rain. He showcased his signature boundless energy, explaining, 'I decorated it with a calm atmosphere that matches my wife's image,' expressing his pride.

The wedding was graced by a star-studded guest list including singers KCM and Baekho, actors Choi Yeo-jin, Lee Tae-gon, and Kim Dong-jun, as well as comedians Sam Hammington and Park Sung-kwang. A special surprise awaited Kim Byung-man's wife, a long-time fan of footballer Lee Dong-gook; he secretly invited him to the ceremony, causing her to react like a 'fangirl,' adding a heartwarming touch.

Kim Byung-man's close friend of 20 years, Lee Soo-geun, hosted the event with witty remarks. Kim Byung-man made a memorable entrance to the iconic theme song of his famous 'Dal-in' (Master) comedy sketch, humorously rebranding himself as 'Dal-in of Marriage.' He delivered his vows with a trembling voice, promising, 'I will become a reliable head of household who protects the peace and joy of my saviors.' His wife responded with equal sincerity, vowing, 'As this is a fated encounter after much searching, I will be your most steadfast supporter,' her eyes welling up.

Singer Choo Dae-yeop, also known as 'Capi Choo,' who shared a humble rooftop apartment with Kim Byung-man and Lee Soo-geun in their early days, performed a celebratory song, marking a lively return to the stage after four years. A heartfelt speech relay followed, starting with actor Shim Hyung-tak and including well wishes from Baekho, Park Sung-kwang, Sam Hammington, and his father-in-law.

Overcome with emotion, Kim Byung-man struggled to express his gratitude, saying, 'Thank you for raising my wife so well. For giving me such a gift…' His heartfelt words moved the guests and even the show's hosts to tears. His wife also expressed her deep appreciation to her parents, saying, 'For choosing to protect my treasure, and for waiting through difficult times and helping with the children... I am also a precious daughter... Thank you so much.' Lee Soo-geun shared his joy, noting, 'Byung-man didn't smile much, but seeing him finally find true happiness makes me very happy.'

Netizens commented, 'Congratulations on your marriage, Kim Byung-man!', 'It's so touching to see how he cares for his wife,' and 'Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness.'
