Lim Young-woong Fan Club 'Raon' Delivers Warm Holiday Cheer to Children with Disabilities

The fan club 'Youngwoong's Generation Volunteer Sharing Room Raon' (hereinafter referred to as Raon), a fan club of singer Lim Young-woong, held their 52nd meal service on the 18th at Lodem House in Yangpyeong, accompanied by a donation of 2.04 million won.

Raon consistently sponsors monthly meal expenses and various supplies for Lodem House, a facility for children with severe disabilities, and actively participates in kitchen meal services by preparing food themselves.

This October's service was specially prepared with a holiday feast menu, capturing the festive spirit of the Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving) holiday. The meal included dishes such as beef and radish soup, bulgogi, three-colored skewer jeon, donggeurangttaeng, perilla leaf jeon, crab stick salad, and songpyeon. Additionally, snacks like candies, cookies, milk, and juice, along with fruits like bananas, apples, Shine Muscat grapes, and oranges, and 10kg of premium Korean beef brisket were provided. The total donation amounted to 2.04 million won.

A representative from Raon stated, "Although the holiday has passed, we wanted to provide a warm meal for the children." They added, "We were busy preparing the delicious food, but we did our best with happy hearts."

Raon determines the menu the day before each volunteer session and personally purchases the necessary ingredients and snacks. On the day of the service, they travel from Seoul to Yangpyeong early in the morning to cook and serve the meals.

"Seeing the residents enjoy the food and become healthier gives us great satisfaction, and we return looking forward to the next month's service," said a Raon member.

As fans of Lim Young-woong, Raon embodies the value of 'togetherness' by consistently delivering warmth to neighbors in need. Beyond Lodem House, they have been providing meal services and donations to various organizations, including slum areas, Yongsan Box Village, Seoul Metropolitan Children's Welfare Association, 'People Selling Hope,' and 'Seoul National University Children's Hospital,' donating a total of 185.17 million won to date and spreading positive influence.
