Jin-young is proving to be a reliable pillar of support for Jeon Yeo-been in the Genie TV original drama 'The Good Bad Woman'. In the 7th episode, released on the 20th, Jin-young's character, Jeon Dong-min, acted as a strong shield for Kim Young-ran (played by Jeon Yeo-been) amidst the turmoil caused by the sudden appearance of her biological mother. This development marked a warming of their relationship and contributed to the episode achieving a 5.6% national viewership rating (5.1% in the metropolitan area), according to Nielsen Korea.

The episode depicted a parent-teacher conference at Muchang Kindergarten. Kim Young-ran, under pressure from the director, stepped in as a teacher. However, just as the class was concluding successfully, Kim Young-ran's mother, Kim So-young (played by So Hee-jung), burst into the classroom in a distressed state, shocking everyone.

Flustered by her mother's unexpected arrival, Kim Young-ran brought her home to understand the situation. Kim So-young, however, proved uncooperative, making provocative remarks and accusing Kim Young-ran of murdering Chairman Ga Sung-ho, enraging viewers.

To make matters worse, Kim So-young acted as a spy, photographing Kim Young-ran, Jeon Dong-min, Jeon Ju-won (played by Yang Woo-hyeok), and various locations in Muchang Village, sending the images to Ga Seon-yeong. After Kim So-young's departure, Jeon Ju-won appeared startled by something he saw, and a broadcast soon announced Jeon Ju-won's disappearance, throwing Muchang Village into chaos.

Upon hearing the news, Kim Young-ran frantically checked CCTV footage and discovered that Jeon Ju-won had left in a stranger's car after Kim So-young visited the supermarket. The situation raised concerns for Jeon Ju-won's safety, especially if Kim So-young hadn't come alone but with someone sent by Ga Seon-yeong. Filled with anxiety, Kim Young-ran, accompanied by Jeon Dong-min, set out to find Jeon Ju-won.

Fortunately, Jeon Ju-won was found safe and sound, returning to Kim Young-ran and Jeon Dong-min. Overwhelmed with relief, Kim Young-ran embraced her child tightly. Jeon Dong-min also arrived at the scene, and the three were able to return home after their tearful reunion.

Jeon Dong-min expressed his apologies and concern to Kim Young-ran for getting hurt while trying to save Jeon Ju-won. Kim Young-ran, to lighten the mood, offered him a candy, creating a subtly sweet atmosphere between them.

Kim Young-ran had noticed Jeon Dong-min's earlier actions: installing streetlights on a dark path for her and unexpectedly joining her morning jogs to ensure her safety while she exercised alone. Witnessing these small but sincere gestures of protection from Jeon Dong-min brought a smile to her face, signaling a shift in her feelings towards him.

While Jeon Dong-min provided a comforting presence like a greenhouse, a new shadow loomed over Kim Young-ran, heightening the tension. A postcard with Kim Young-ran's address, depicting a woman being burned, along with a photo of Kim Young-ran and her son Jeon Dong-min, fueled dangerous speculation about the identity of this new threat.

Netizens reacted positively, commenting things like 'Jin-young is finally taking care of the female lead,' 'Their chemistry seems good,' and 'I'm so curious about the next episode,' expressing anticipation for the developing relationship between Jeon Dong-min and Kim Young-ran.
