'I Am Solo' to Air as Scheduled Despite Actor Lee Yi-kyung's Personal Life Rumors

Despite swirling rumors surrounding actor Lee Yi-kyung's personal life, the SBS Plus and ENA dating reality show 'I Am Solo,' in which he appears, will proceed with its broadcast as scheduled.

A representative from 'I Am Solo' stated in a phone call with Sports Seoul on the morning of the 21st, "The production team has no separate statement at this moment," adding, "It is scheduled to air normally tomorrow (the 22nd)."

Previously, Lee Yi-kyung became embroiled in controversy due to rumors about his personal life. A woman, claiming to be German, posted a large number of photos on a blog, alleging they were messages exchanged with Lee Yi-kyung. These photos reportedly contained unverified information.

In response, Lee Yi-kyung's agency, Sangyoung ENT, immediately refuted the claims, dismissing them as "false information."

The agency announced, "We are preparing legal action regarding damages caused by the spread of false information and malicious rumors related to the current issue being posted and circulated on online communities and social media."

Sangyoung ENT further stated, "Given the seriousness of this matter, we will calculate the direct and indirect damages resulting from the dissemination of false information and take all necessary measures. Please be advised that not only the creation but also the indiscriminate posting and distribution are subject to legal action, so we urge you to avoid causing unnecessary harm."

They concluded by saying, "We will do our best to protect our artist through fan tips and our continuous monitoring of such issues."

Korean netizens expressed caution, with comments like 'Where there's smoke, there's fire,' and 'We should wait and see.' However, others noted, 'Since the agency is strongly denying it, he might be unfairly accused.' Some are also concerned about the potential impact on the broadcast of 'I Am Solo.'
