‘King of Janggu’ Park Seo-jin Graces ‘Woman Sense’ November Cover with Irresistible Charm

Singer Park Seo-jin, widely known as the ‘King of Janggu’ (traditional Korean drum), is set to captivate readers as he adorns the cover of the November issue of ‘Woman Sense’ magazine.

In a photoshoot themed ‘A Relaxing Getaway in Harmony with Nature,’ in collaboration with outdoor brand Westwood, Park Seo-jin shared, “I showed myself just as I am.” He added, “I personally prefer casual clothes that are comfortable and easy to move in.”

During the interview following the photoshoot, Park Seo-jin reflected on his musical journey, connecting his past aspirations with his present.

“In my days of obscurity, I sang in markets and on the streets because there were no stages for me,” he recalled. “Those times made me who I am today. I believe in persistently pursuing one path.”

He further expressed his ambition, stating, “I want to become a singer who can perform well for a long time.” He admitted, “I still get nervous when I go on stage, but singing on stage is my life.”

Park Seo-jin also emphasized his deep affection for his fans. “To me, fans are individuals who build the stage together with me,” he said. “I exist today because of my fans.” He added, “Seeing my fans stay to watch my performance until the end, even in the rain, makes me feel I need to work even harder. My fans are the reason I must sing.”

His daily life, as seen through variety shows, reveals a strong bond with his family. “Before, I barely spoke with my family because I was too busy,” Park Seo-jin confessed. “But after appearing on ‘Mr. House Husband 2,’ I realized how precious my family is. Though I may be awkward at expressing it, I want to do everything for my family.”

Meanwhile, Park Seo-jin is actively appearing in various programs after winning the title of the second ‘Legendary Singer’ on MBN’s ‘Legendary Battle’ (Hyunyeok Gasong 2), including ‘Korea-Japan Top Ten Show,’ ‘Korea-Japan King of Singers Battle 2025,’ ‘Welcome to Jjin’s House,’ and KBS2’s ‘Mr. House Husband 2.’
