Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B has boldly advocated for formula feeding during her pregnancy, openly sharing her realistic parenting challenges.

In a recent X (formerly Twitter) Spaces live broadcast, Cardi B stated, "Pumping takes literally all day," adding, "Breastfeeding takes so much time, and some women have to go back to work right away to make a living. They don't have time to sit around all day." She emphasized, "There are women who have no choice but to rely on formula. That's not their fault."

She further confessed her personal struggles, revealing, "I would pump for two hours and only get like 2 ounces. And baby sometimes wants to feed again in two hours, or like 45 minutes later." Cardi B admitted, "That’s when I’m like, 'Am I not a good mother?'"

Alongside these candid remarks, Cardi B announced her new role as 'Chief Confidence Officer' for an organic formula brand. The brand's campaign promotes the message that "all parents should be able to choose the parenting methods that work for them." She reiterated, "It’s not bad that you don’t breastfeed. It’s not bad that you formula feed," adding, "Not every mom has to do the same thing. Just because I choose to go back on tour doesn't mean everybody else has to."

Cardi B is currently expecting her fourth child with NFL player Stefon Diggs. She is already mother to Culture (7), Wave (4), and Blame (13 months) with ex-husband Offset. Previously, Cardi B shared, "When I had my third baby, I recovered fast because I kept working out. I hope this delivery is just as easy."

Korean netizens are showing strong support for Cardi B's candid parenting confessions. Comments like "Thank you for the realistic talk," "These are worries every mom goes through," and "Just do what works for you" are pouring in, showing solidarity with her perspective.
