TEMPEST Wraps Up Successful Comeback Showcase, Unveils 'In The Dark' Performance

K-pop group TEMPEST has successfully concluded their comeback showcase for their seventh mini-album, 'As I am'.

The event, held on the 27th at Ilji Art Hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, kicked off with a performance of the B-side track 'nocturnal', setting an excited mood for the show.

Introducing their new album, the members shared, "'As I am' captures the worries and anxieties TEMPEST has felt, and it tells our autobiographical story of how we overcome them and move forward." They added, "We worked hard on this album, so we hope you'll listen to it a lot."

Following this, TEMPEST delivered a captivating performance of the title track 'In The Dark (어둠 속에서)', impressing fans with their emotional expressions and fluid stage presence. The choreography, harmonizing with the song's melancholic mood, amplified TEMPEST's unique sensibility and enhanced the viewing pleasure.

The showcase also featured engaging segments for fan interaction. In the 'CHILL GUY, TEMPEST' corner, members' personalities were revealed through a test, fostering a warm atmosphere. The 'How deep is your love?' segment included fun activities like drawing quizzes, balance games, and performance challenges, creating joyful moments with their fans.

Concluding the showcase with a performance of 'CHILL', co-written by members LEW and Hyuk, TEMPEST expressed their determination. "We are preparing diligently to show an even more upgraded performance at our solo concerts on November 29th and 30th," they stated, promising, "We will become a TEMPEST that can repay all the love and courage we've received from our iE fans."

'As I am' marks TEMPEST's return after approximately seven months, carrying a message of self-belief and comfort for everyone. Through this album, the group aims to share a sincere record of finding their true selves by focusing on the process rather than conforming to societal definitions of success.

Having successfully completed their showcase, TEMPEST will now actively promote their title track 'In The Dark (어둠 속에서)'.
