Singer Seo Sajang SSJ (real name Seo Yoon) is set to make a comeback after approximately 1 year and 7 months with the release of her new digital single, ‘Chonggyeong Banteom,’ in November.

‘Chonggyeong Banteom’ is a dance track with a BPM of 145, featuring the synth sounds popular in the 1990s and an excitingly fast rhythm. The song notably draws inspiration from sensitive social issues, including the tragic sacrifice of the late student activist Park Jong-chul during the 1980s democratization movement and the recent case involving the late actor Lee Sun-kyun, embedding a satirical message about society. This has already garnered significant attention prior to its release.

Seo Sajang SSJ has a history of releasing songs with critical social commentary, starting with ‘Just One Drink’ in collaboration with WAX in 2016, followed by ‘Good World’ with politician Huh Kyung-young, and ‘At the Riverside Station’ with Shinbaram Lee Baksa. Her upcoming single, ‘Chonggyeong Banteom,’ is expected to continue this trend.

In addition to the title track ‘Chonggyeong Banteom,’ the digital single will also include an EDM remix version of ‘At the Riverside Station,’ her collaboration with Shinbaram Lee Baksa, promising a rich musical experience for fans.

Netizens are expressing anticipation, with comments like 'I've been waiting for Seo Sajang SSJ's comeback!', 'Looking forward to the social satire, I'm curious about the message!', and 'Given the themes of Lee Sun-kyun and Park Jong-chul, it seems to contain a sincere message.'
