Get ready for 82Major's powerful return! The group held a showcase for their 4th mini-album, 'Trophy,' on the afternoon of the 30th at the Ilchi Art Hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
Having passed their second year since debut, 82Major is set to capture fans' hearts with their enhanced musical capabilities and intense performances.
The title track, 'Trophy,' is a tech house song driven by an addictive bassline, amplified by the members' explosive energy and synergistic choreography. The album fully embodies 82Major's confidence and passion.
"This album is a new challenge where we aim to show our unique color accurately," said Sungil. "Through the music and mood, we'll demonstrate the direction we want to head in." Seokjun added, "Just like the title 'Trophy,' it contains our passion and aspiration to win it all. There's even a gesture of holding a trophy in our choreography."
The members also showcased their skills as 'self-producing idols.' The B-side track 'Say More' conveys heartfelt messages to their fans, while 'Suspicious' features all members. 'Need That Bass' highlights 82Major's strength as 'performance-oriented idols.'
They also revealed their ultimate aspirations as artists. Seongmo stated, "We want to win the 'Artist of the Year' award and lift a trophy at award ceremonies." Sungil surprisingly shared, "We talk among ourselves about wanting to go to the Grammy Awards."
