Comedian Lim La-ra Bravely Shares Harrowing Birth Story, Undergoes Spinal Anesthesia Due to Severe Itching

Comedian Lim La-ra has opened up about her incredibly difficult childbirth experience, garnering sympathy from many.

On the 29th, the YouTube channel 'Enjoy Couple' uploaded a video titled 'A Miraculous Meeting After a Great Ordeal: Finally, Twins are Born!'.

In the video, Lim La-ra, facing imminent labor, reflected on the past with her husband Son Min-soo, saying, 'It was tough, that's why. The happy moments passed by quickly.' She particularly spoke about the severe pruritus (itching) that plagued her pregnancy, stating, 'One day of severe itching felt like a month of morning sickness. If it weren't for the itching, I might have endured until 28 weeks and had a third child,' revealing the immense hardship she endured.

Ultimately, due to the unbearable pain from the itching, Lim La-ra had to advance her scheduled C-section. She opted for spinal anesthesia over general anesthesia, wanting to hear her babies' first cries. However, she recounted experiencing excruciating pain even during the anesthesia process, confessing, 'I thought I was going to die.'

Having safely delivered her first son, Ttuki, and second daughter, Raki, Lim La-ra expressed her joy, saying, 'Tuki's face looked just like Son Min-soo. They were prettier than I expected.' Son Min-soo, showing off his proud dad side, couldn't hide his happiness, exclaiming, 'Is this my baby?'
