Kim Hee-sun Recalls 'Secret Celebrity Cafe' Days with G-Dragon and Se7en: 'Se7en Felt Like My Son'

Actress Kim Hee-sun has stirred nostalgia and curiosity by revealing her past acquaintance with singers G-Dragon and Se7en through a secret online community for celebrities.

In an episode of the web entertainment show 'Salon Drip' uploaded on the 'TEO' YouTube channel on the 28th, Kim Hee-sun appeared as a guest and shared candid stories with host Jang Do-yeon.

When asked about social gatherings, Kim Hee-sun affirmed, "Of course, I go to my friends' meetups." Addressing the question about her friendship with G-Dragon, she clarified, "We're not in contact these days, it was a long time ago."

Kim Hee-sun then elaborated, "Back then, G-Dragon must have been in high school. Se7en and I were part of a secret 'next-gen cafe' that only celebrities could join." She explained, "You had to be verified as a celebrity to sign up. The founder was also a celebrity, and they had to approve your membership."

She continued, "Since everyone there was a celebrity, we had casual conversations. G-Dragon and Se7en were there too." Recalling her younger days, she humorously shared, "When I was in my 30s and Se7en in his 20s, the age gap felt huge, so he felt like my 'son.'" She added with a laugh, "But now Se7en is in his 40s too. He still seems like a kid to me, like he might show up wearing Heelys."

When Jang Do-yeon inquired about the fate of the cafe, Kim Hee-sun replied, "It broke apart a long time ago. There were so many issues, like people dating within the cafe and then breaking up and threatening to leave."

Finally, Kim Hee-sun shared, "As we were active there, whenever I thought, 'This will become news soon,' it inevitably did," recalling past incidents.
