Jo Jung-suk Teased by Song Eun-i & Kim Sook Over Hit Song Count: "'Aloha' Isn't Mine"
Actor Jo Jung-suk found himself playfully teased by comedians Song Eun-i and Kim Sook regarding his lack of hit songs during his appearance on the YouTube channel 'Vivo TV'.
Discussing his upcoming nationwide concert tour, set to begin in December, Jo Jung-suk revealed the subtitle for the tour: 'SIDE B'. He explained, "If 'SIDE A' is actor Jo Jung-suk, then with 'SIDE B,' I wanted to show a new side of myself. I don't have many hit songs." He clarified, "These days, some younger fans think 'Aloha' is my song, but 'Aloha' is originally a song by Cool, and 'Joah Joah' belongs to YB."
Song Eun-i humorously remarked, "I wanted to go to Jo Jung-suk's concert, but now that I hear he doesn't have hit songs, I'm hesitating." Kim Sook chimed in, "Unnie, that's too much." Jo Jung-suk retorted, "Aren't popular comedians also without catchphrases?" eliciting laughter from everyone.
Despite the jokes, both comedians expressed genuine support, citing Jo Jung-suk's extensive performance experience and likable personality as reasons they were eager to attend. Jo Jung-suk assured them, "I'm preparing diligently so you won't regret coming."
Furthermore, Jo Jung-suk disclosed that there are no guest performers planned for the concert. He also mentioned that he hasn't even discussed a potential appearance with his wife, singer Gummy, adding an element of intrigue.
Korean netizens reacted with comments like: "Jo Jung-suk really doesn't have many songs, but I hope the nationwide tour is a huge success!", "Song Eun-i and Kim Sook's bestie vibes are hilarious lol", "I expected Gummy to be a guest, but it's a shame. Still looking forward to Jo Jung-suk's solo stage!"
