Veteran actor Lee Jeong-seop, once known as the original 'Cooking-dol', appeared on MBN's 'Special World' on the 30th, sharing an update on his health and current life.

His son, who inherited his culinary talents, is currently running a restaurant and still seeks his father's advice. However, Lee was seen having a simple breakfast alone, consisting of just two eggs and a few quail eggs.

"My stomach is only 1/4 of its original size, so I have to eat slowly and little by little," Lee explained. "I eat slowly while watching TV."

About ten years ago, Lee underwent surgery to remove three-quarters of his stomach after being diagnosed with advanced stomach cancer. The diagnosis came as a shock during a health check-up for a broadcast program. "A week after the check-up, the CP told me I had late-stage stomach cancer. I thought I was going to die then," he recalled.

Fortunately, Lee managed his health well and received a clean bill of health five years after the surgery, showing remarkable recovery.

Netizens expressed concern and support, commenting, "Health is truly the most important thing," and "It's inspiring to see him overcome such a difficult time. Wishing him continued good health."
