G-DRAGON to Headline APEC Summit Welcome Banquet Performance

Global music icon G-DRAGON is set to grace the stage at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit's welcome banquet with a special cultural performance.

The renowned artist will perform on the evening of November 23rd at a gala dinner hosted at the Lahat Hotel in Gyeongju, entertaining leaders and high-ranking officials from 21 member economies.

Having cemented his status as a 'cultural icon' transcending K-pop into fashion, art, and beyond, G-DRAGON was appointed as an APEC Summit Honorary Ambassador in July. His recent APEC promotional video, co-starring Gyeonggi Province Governor Lee Jae-myung and Wonyoung of IVE, has garnered over 17 million views, sparking widespread discussion. The fact that he participated in the video without any compensation further earned him significant acclaim.

It's reported that G-DRAGON demonstrated remarkable dedication during the promotional video shoot, traveling between Korea and the U.S. amidst his busy world tour schedule. His efforts clearly highlighted the commencement of the APEC Summit, showcasing his enduring influence.

Meanwhile, G-DRAGON has been actively continuing his third world tour, 'G-DRAGON 2025 WORLD TOUR [Übermensch]', with upcoming dates in Taipei and Hanoi in November, followed by Seoul in December, after successfully concluding legs in Asia, the United States, and Europe since March.
