NCT's Doyoung Donates $100 Million KRW Ahead of Military Enlistment to Support Children's Dreams
Doyoung, a member of the K-pop group NCT, is touching hearts with a generous donation as he prepares for his military enlistment.
International humanitarian and development NGO World Vision announced on the 31st that Doyoung has donated 100 million KRW to support children's dreams by improving educational environments.
Doyoung decided to make this donation to give back the love he received from his fans, following the successful conclusion of his recent Asian tour and encore concert.
The funds will be used for school construction in the Bugondo village, Mayuge district, Uganda, aiming to provide a safer and more comfortable learning space for approximately 1,000 children who face difficulties continuing their education due to poor learning conditions.
"I am grateful to be able to repay even a small part of the love I've received from fans worldwide as I conclude my second tour," Doyoung stated. "I hope this school becomes a starting point for the children to nurture their dreams."
World Vision expressed sincere gratitude for Doyoung's heartfelt support and pledged to do their best to ensure that many children in Bugondo village have the opportunity to continue their education and pursue their dreams in a better environment.
Doyoung is scheduled to enlist as an active-duty soldier in the army on December 8th.
