
MBC Announcer Lee Jung-min Wins Grand Prize at 37th Korean Language and Literature Awards
MBC's Head of the Announcer Bureau, Lee Jung-min, has been honored with the Grand Prize at the 37th Korean Language and Literature Awards, hosted by the Korean Language Reporters Association.
Lee Jung-min joined MBC as an announcer in 2002 and has since hosted a variety of programs, including the flagship news program 'Newsdesk'. She currently anchors the radio current affairs show 'Jeongchi Issa' and the TV ombudsman program 'Tamnaneun TV'.
The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on November 4th at 12 PM at the Press Club on the 19th floor of the Korea Press Center.
The Korean Language and Literature Awards were established in 1989 to encourage journalists and scholars contributing to the development of the Korean language and to recognize individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to the advancement of Korean language and literature.
