Fly to the Sky & Psick University Unite for 'Sea of Love' Live Stage Debut
Get ready for an epic collaboration as members of Fly to the Seoul and the popular YouTube comedy group Psick University are set to appear on JTBC's 'Knowing Bros.'
Hwanhee and Brian of the legendary R&B duo Fly to the Seoul will join forces with Jeong Jae-hyung and Kim Min-soo from Psick University, who recently went viral for their 2025 remastered parody of Fly to the Seoul's hit song 'Sea of Love.'
During the broadcast, Brian will share his genuine feelings about the parody, stating, "I saw the 'Sea of Love' parody by Jae-hyung and Min-soo, and I was grateful that Jae-hyung played Hwanhee's part." Jeong Jae-hyung humorously responded, "It was a thorough visual casting," eliciting laughter from everyone present.
Kim Min-soo will also reveal the behind-the-scenes story of filming their parody music video. He shared, "We filmed in a deserted area in Ganghwa Island and managed to shoot it affordably, spending only about 300,000 won on toll fees, food, and coffee." Hwanhee added, "We filmed ours at the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, but people mistake it for the Gwangan Bridge in Busan," further amusing the cast.
Hwanhee spoke about his 26-year friendship with Brian, remarking, "I could never win an argument against Brian back in the day. He's like a strong grandmother." He proved their deep bond by revealing a friendship bracelet he's kept for 26 years. In contrast, Jeong Jae-hyung and Kim Min-soo attributed Psick University's success to their "thorough business relationship," revealing, "In seven years, the three of us—Yong-joo, Jae-hyung, and Min-soo—have only had drinks together once."
This episode will mark the first-ever joint performance of 'Sea of Love' by Hwanhee, Brian, Jeong Jae-hyung, and Kim Min-soo, bringing together the original artists and their parody creators. Additionally, Hwanhee, known for his soulful trot music, will deliver a captivating live performance of 'Mujeong Blues.'
Korean netizens are buzzing with excitement, with comments like "Finally, are we going to see them all together?", "Looking forward to the 'Sea of Love' stage!", and "Psick University's content was really funny." The upcoming collaboration stage is highly anticipated.
