G-Dragon to Headline APEC Summit Welcome Banquet

Global music and fashion icon G-Dragon is set to perform at the official welcome banquet for the APEC Summit on the 31st, held at the Lahan Hotel in Gyeongju.

Appointed as an ambassador for the APEC Summit earlier this year, G-Dragon has transcended K-pop to become a cultural phenomenon, influencing fashion, art, and more on a global scale. He is the sole K-pop artist invited to the banquet, which will be attended by heads of state and high-ranking officials from 21 APEC member economies. Attendees can anticipate an innovative and creative stage performance from the artist.

Previously, a promotional video featuring G-Dragon and President Lee Jae-myung garnered over 17 million views, receiving praise for opening new horizons in international event promotion.

Meanwhile, G-Dragon is continuing his successful world tour. Following his start in Korea in March, he has performed across Asia, major U.S. cities, and Paris, with recent shows in Osaka, Japan. His tour is scheduled to continue in Taipei and Hanoi in November, followed by a concert in Seoul in December.
