Actress Ok Ja-yeon Reveals She's Taking Acting Classes Now: 'It's So Much Fun!'

Actress Ok Ja-yeon has confessed that she is currently taking acting classes.

In a video uploaded on the YouTube channel ‘PDC by PDC’ on the 30th, Ok Ja-yeon, who started acting right after graduating from university at 25, shared her passion for the craft.

She revealed, “I wanted to go to Korea National University of Arts and also applied for theater auditions.” She accidentally joined a theater troupe and chose practical experience over formal education.

Ok Ja-yeon admitted, “Looking back now, I should have gone to school. Isn’t learning acting really fun? Maybe it wouldn’t have been as fun at that age, but I’m attending an acting academy now, and it’s incredibly enjoyable.”

When the PDC crew expressed surprise, Ok Ja-yeon explained, “It’s more like acting coaching than an academy. I realized, ‘Ah, acting classes are so much fun.’ I wonder if I would have grown much faster if I had learned this earlier.”

Responding to a question about whether she hadn't grown quickly enough, Ok Ja-yeon humbly replied, “But I think I am still very lacking.”

Meanwhile, Ok Ja-yeon gained recognition for her villainous roles in dramas such as ‘Under the Queen's Umbrella’, ‘Mine’, ‘The Uncanny Counter’, ‘Big Mouth’, ‘Queenmaker’, and ‘Gyeongseong Creature Season 1’.
