Kim Ga-eun & Yoon Sun-woo Reveal First Impressions Weren't Love at First Sight

Actors Kim Ga-eun and Yoon Sun-woo, now husband and wife, have shared their candid thoughts on their initial meeting.

A new video titled ‘Roy Kim's 'Dali Proposal Lab' with Yoon Sun-woo & Kim Ga-eun’ was uploaded to Roy Kim's YouTube channel on the 1st.

The video featured Roy Kim suggesting a 'return proposal' to Yoon Sun-woo after watching a clip of Kim Ga-eun proposing to him. Yoon Sun-woo accepted the offer, sharing his contact information, and soon after, he and Roy Kim met to plan the proposal.

Yoon Sun-woo revealed, "We're getting married on October 26th. Almost everything is ready, except for the proposal," making everyone laugh. When Roy Kim asked if he had ever imagined his wife would propose to him first, Yoon Sun-woo replied, "I really couldn't have imagined it. I was truly surprised," expressing his astonishment that Kim Ga-eun was waiting to propose.

He further elaborated, "According to the plan, it should have happened last week, and I had prepared for it. I thought about playing it on TV when he wasn't around, like an interview video, but it didn't feel right. So I scrapped it, thinking I'd be criticized forever if I did it that way."

To initiate the proposal preparations, Roy Kim contacted a wedding planner to lure Kim Ga-eun to the proposal spot under the guise of a magazine interview. Upon arriving, Kim Ga-eun recalled their first meeting, saying, "From the first impression, it wasn't like 'I like you' at all. I just thought he was a very proper, kind, and well-behaved older brother."

Yoon Sun-woo shared a similar sentiment about Kim Ga-eun's first impression. "It wasn't that good," he confessed. "She seemed very prim and mischievous, and I just didn't get a good feeling."

Kim Ga-eun added, "He's the type who's a bit shy, so I thought, 'Ah, this might be a bit boring.'" Yoon Sun-woo chimed in, "She loves playing pranks, so she hid my shoes and my phone and didn't give them back for 8 hours."
