Comedian Im La-ra Discharged from ICU After Postpartum Hemorrhage, Shares Grateful Update

Comedian Im La-ra, known for her YouTube channel 'Enjoy Couple,' has shared an update on her recovery after being hospitalized in the intensive care unit due to severe postpartum hemorrhage.

On March 31st, Im La-ra posted on her social media, expressing her gratitude for life with a caption stating, 'It's only 10 minutes, but how long has it been since my last walk? Grateful for every day I'm alive.' She had welcomed twins on February 14th, but just nine days later, she was rushed to the hospital due to excessive bleeding.

Reflecting on the ordeal, she wrote, 'I almost couldn't hold my babies' hands, but thanks to everyone's worries and support, I can hold them now. I'm truly sorry for causing concern, and thank you again.' She further elaborated on the critical situation: 'On the 9th day postpartum, I suddenly experienced a large amount of bleeding. The situation became more urgent because the nearest large hospital's emergency room couldn't accept me as a patient.' Thankfully, she added, 'I received a call that my delivery hospital could take me, and thanks to the rescue team, I was able to receive a blood transfusion in time.'

Im La-ra concluded by expressing her gratitude for the support: 'Before parting from my husband, I was so anxious and asked Min-soo to have everyone pray for me. Thanks to that, I am now recovering quickly. I will also always pray for everyone's health and peace.' She also extended her heartfelt thanks to the medical professionals, stating, 'I want to express my deepest gratitude once again to the rescue team who worked hard for me, the emergency and intensive care units at Ewha Womans University Mokdong Hospital, and Professor Jeon Jong-gwan and the obstetrics team.'
