Actor Kim Seung-soo has candidly shared his struggles, including being suspected of having a questionable sexual identity due to his prolonged single life.

Kim Seung-soo confessed, "I have never fallen in love at first sight." He elaborated, "Many people say they are attracted by the outer beauty of the opposite sex, but I have never experienced that. I only realized later that it was unusual."

He added, "Although I worked with many beautiful actresses during my acting career, I only felt they were pretty. My heart never moved, which made dating difficult for me."

Kim Seung-soo revealed, "Because I didn't marry or date for a long time, some people even suspected my sexual identity. I received fan letters that said, ‘I understand your feelings, hyung,’ or included phone numbers."

Now 53 years old, Kim Seung-soo stated, "I wanted to get married around the age of 40. I went on a few formal blind dates, but I felt like I was only burdening them." He honestly shared his dating style, saying, "I'm the type of person who develops feelings after getting to know someone well. It takes at least a year for me to feel comfortable. Even if the other person shows interest, if I don't feel the same, it's hard for the relationship to progress."
