Entertainer Do Kyung-wan Officially Declares 'No Third Child Plans' Citing Past Longing
Entertainer Do Kyung-wan has shared his honest thoughts on having a third child.
In a YouTube video uploaded on the 31st under the title 'Do-Jang Couple's Third Child Plan Official Statement | I had a solo drink during the day because no one was home,' Do Kyung-wan enjoyed a solo mukbang with samgyeopsal at a restaurant.
During his meal, he announced, 'And now, I will make an official statement regarding our third child,' drawing attention. He directly addressed the flood of questions about 'third child plans.'
Do Kyung-wan stated, 'I gave up on it a long time ago. Our daughter Ha-young is already 8 years old and in the first grade of elementary school.' He then appealed, 'I am confident in raising another child. I swaddle babies impeccably, almost like packing a package, so they can't move. I also prepare formula with excellent wrist flick technique.'
However, he also revealed practical difficulties, saying, 'But there's also a time for everything.' He further explained, 'The reason I kept mentioning a third child, which might be a heartbreaking story, is that I was originally in a position to have been part of a three-sibling family.'
It was previously revealed on ENA's 'My Child's Life' that although Do Kyung-wan is an only child, his mother had originally had elder siblings who passed away early, and it was after that difficult experience that she conceived Do Kyung-wan, a story that evoked sadness.
In response, Do Kyung-wan clarified, 'I spoke that way because of a vague longing for that (three-sibling family).' He concluded, 'Officially, there will be no third child now.'
Meanwhile, Do Kyung-wan married singer Jang Yoon-jeong in 2013 and they have a son, Yeon-woo, and a daughter, Ha-young.
