After School's Kahi Reinvents Herself as 'Dance CEO,' Embracing a Second Peak

Kahi, formerly of the iconic girl group After School, is making waves as a dynamic dance instructor, showcasing her renewed passion.

Recently, Kahi shared a clip from her class on social media, exclaiming, "This is so exciting~~ Join Kahi's Dance Fitness!!"

In the released video, Kahi, wearing a microphone, personally demonstrates moves for her dance academy students. She leads a vibrant class with energetic choreography, proving her skills are as sharp as ever despite a significant hiatus. Her professional charisma captivated viewers.

Actress So Yoo-jin showed her support by leaving fire emojis in the comments, to which Kahi playfully replied, "Yoo-jin!!! You have to come!!!" highlighting their strong friendship.

Kahi previously opened up about the difficulties she faced after leaving After School, admitting, "I hit rock bottom after leaving the group. I wasn't taken care of by the company and struggled financially."

However, instead of succumbing to despair, she chose a new path. Upon returning to Korea, Kahi established her dance academy, 'Gisecrew,' embarking on a new chapter.

She expressed her joy, stating, "Teaching children, styling them, figuring out how to make them look prettier, how to make them dance better – I teach them using the know-how I've gained. Watching them absorb it and transform is incredibly fulfilling and fun."

Kahi also shared a past struggle: "There were dark times when I felt like I was dying because I had no dreams. Since meeting Gisecrew, I am dreaming again."

Meanwhile, Kahi married a businessman in 2016 and is a mother of two sons. After living in Bali, Indonesia, for five years following her marriage, she has returned to Korea and is currently experiencing her second prime as a 'Dance CEO.'
