Jun Hyun-moo Receives Boos on Turkish Show for Excessive Ambition

Jeon Hyun-moo of 'The Boss's Ear is a Donkey's Ear' drew boos from the panel on Turkey's popular variety show 'Alişan Show' due to his excessive ambition.

The KBS2 entertainment program 'The Boss's Ear is a Donkey's Ear,' aired on the 2nd, featured Eom Ji-in, Jeon Hyun-moo, Jeong Ho-young, and Heo Yu-won appearing on the Turkish national variety show 'Alişan Show.' Before the broadcast, Kim Sook expressed her worry, saying, "I'm needlessly concerned. What if the ratings drop after we appear?" Eom Ji-in added, "That's why I even paid special attention to our Hanbok outfits."

As the recording began, the cast couldn't hide their nervousness. Eom Ji-in shared, "We were really tense backstage. It was daunting because there was no script or rehearsal, and we didn't know where to start."

After Jeong Ho-young appeared first, Jeon Hyun-moo was introduced as the 'team leader.' He then introduced himself as "Jeon Hyun-moo, the national MC of Korea, like Alişan," which immediately drew boos from the panelists. Kim Sook chided him, "Are you saying that yourself?" but Jeon Hyun-moo shamelessly replied, "Who knows?" He even boasted about his chest hair, saying, "I have as much hair as Turkish people."

Seeing this, Kim Sook expressed her displeasure, asking, "Are you really trying to debut in Turkey and make a good impression?" Jeon Hyun-moo explained, "I just wanted to make it fun so we wouldn't be a burden on the broadcast and the ratings wouldn't fall."

Contrary to the initial worries, the broadcast concluded successfully. Eom Ji-in reported, "Compared to last year, the overall ranking went up by 30 spots, and the viewer share increased by more than threefold," bringing a sense of relief.
