2PM's Taecyeon to Tie the Knot Next Spring, Shares Heartfelt Letter with Fans

Ok Taec-yeon, beloved member of the group 2PM and a rising actor, has announced his upcoming marriage to his non-celebrity girlfriend next spring.

His agency, 51K, confirmed the news on the 1st, stating, "Taec-yeon has decided to spend his life with someone he has been in a long-term relationship with. The wedding ceremony will take place next spring at a private venue in Seoul, attended only by family and close acquaintances."

In a handwritten letter posted on his Instagram account, Taec-yeon shared his personal feelings with his fans. He wrote, "I have promised to spend the rest of my life with someone who has understood and believed in me for a long time. We will become a strong support for each other as we walk through life together."

He further expressed his gratitude, adding, "As a member of 2PM, an actor, and your Taec-yeon, I will repay your love and trust with better performances."

The bride-to-be is a non-celebrity, whose relationship with Taec-yeon was publicly confirmed in 2020. The couple has been in a public relationship for over five years. Engagement rumors had surfaced earlier this year following the release of couple photos taken in Paris.

Taec-yeon debuted with 2PM in 2008 and has since built a robust acting career. He becomes the second member of 2PM, following Hwang Chan-sung, to get married.
