Ji Ye-eun, the youngest member of the popular variety show ‘Running Man’, has returned to the screen after approximately three weeks of absence, much to the delight of her fans.

During the broadcast on the 2nd, Ji Ye-eun made an appearance after taking a break due to health issues. Despite her voice still not being fully recovered, she returned with her signature bright energy, easing viewers' concerns. Upon her entrance, Ji Ye-eun, visibly moved, said, "Thank you for all your support," her voice noticeably hoarse. Co-star Choi Daniel expressed his worry, noting, "Your voice hasn't fully returned yet." Ji Ye-eun responded with a smile, "It's getting better little by little. Talking a lot like this helps the vocal cords."

She also shared insights into her recovery, mentioning, "My appetite changed when I got sick." She added, "I've been eating nourishing foods, and although I eat less, my digestive system isn't the same as before." Her fellow cast members offered warm encouragement, advising her to "Don't talk too much" and "Take it slow, don't push yourself."

Previously, Ji Ye-eun decided to temporarily halt her activities last month due to a decline in her health. Her agency had stated that she would focus on recovery starting in September. Yoo Jae-suk had also clarified on the show that she was undergoing treatment and not experiencing burnout.

While a media outlet speculated about potential hypothyroidism, her agency stated they could not confirm personal medical information. The return episode sparked a flurry of online reactions. Netizens commented, "Worried because her voice isn't fully back yet," "Thank you for returning," "Hope you recover slowly without overdoing it," and "It's a relief to see you looking so bright."

Even with her lingering hoarseness, Ji Ye-eun is steadily on the path to recovery, embodying her own words that "talking is what helps the vocal cords heal." Fans are rallying behind her, emphasizing that "health comes before stage performance" and wishing her a swift and complete recovery.

Korean netizens expressed both relief and concern upon Ji Ye-eun's return. Comments like "I'm worried because her voice isn't fully recovered yet" were common, alongside heartfelt messages such as "Thank you for coming back" and "I hope she takes her time to recover fully."
