KBS2’s entertainment show ‘The Boss’s Ears Are Donkey Ears’ featured the charming and confident presence of Shim Ji-won, grandson of businessman Im Chae-moo, who is aiming for the succession of ‘Chae-moo Land.’

The 329th episode, aired on the 2nd (Sunday), recorded a viewership rating of 6.5%, continuing its streak as the number one entertainment show in its time slot for 178 consecutive weeks.

During the broadcast, Shim Ji-won, son of director Im Go-woon and grandson of Im Chae-moo, actively participated in inspecting the facilities of ‘Chae-moo Land.’ He pointed out the slight wobble in the flooring of the second-floor block room and even test-rode a sled, impressing his grandfather with his initiative.

Following this, Im Chae-moo, along with Shim Ji-won and director Im Go-woon, visited a reptile specialty shop to purchase new animals for ‘Chae-moo Land.’ Rapper Outsider made a surprise appearance, adding to the intrigue. Outsider, appointed as the first celebrity ambassador for amphibians and reptiles and now a full-time professor in specialized animal studies, recommended animals like the Green Basilisk lizard, Tegu, and Aldabra giant tortoise, aiming to captivate visitors.

When Outsider mentioned that the largest tortoise could cost between 150 million to 200 million KRW, Im Chae-moo joked, "These guys are more expensive than I am," and playfully suggested he might have to catch one himself in Africa, drawing laughter.

Meanwhile, Jeon Hyun-moo, Uhm Ji-in, Heo Yu-won, and Jung Ho-young traveled to Turkey for a special Korean lecture. They had the honor of appearing on ‘Smile of Life with Alişan,’ a program hosted by Alişan, a renowned national MC in Turkey. Jeon Hyun-moo showcased impressive dance moves and humorously revealed his chest hair, comparing himself to Turkish men. Jung Ho-young presented a ‘Lamb Bulgogi’ fusion dish, sparking a spicy food challenge with Alişan. Jeon Hyun-moo boldly tasted a Turkish Samanda pepper, known to be several times hotter than Cheongyang peppers, and reacted with a wriggling dance, humorously sublimating the heat.

After successfully completing the live broadcast and a rainy run, Jeon Hyun-moo and Jung Ho-young visited a traditional Turkish bathhouse, ‘hamam,’ to relieve their fatigue. While enjoying the warm sauna, they underwent a traditional scrub by robust bath attendants who performed a vigorous ‘spicy hand massage’ and intricate techniques, leaving the duo exhilarated. Jeon Hyun-moo expressed satisfaction, stating, “It wasn’t as painful as I thought and was really refreshing. If there was a place like this in Korea, I’d come twice a week.”

Additionally, K-anaz and Jung Ho-young attended the wedding of Hassan, their coordinator in Turkey, and his friend. They gifted gold coins to the newlyweds and performed a congratulatory song, ‘Amor Fati,’ spreading Korean energy and good wishes.

Separately, national judo team coach Hwang Hee-tae prepared another 'hellish training session' for his athletes. In the weight training room, the judo national team members engaged in rigorous rope, dumbbell, and core exercises, striving for medals. As fatigue set in, Coach Hwang shared his own training experiences, saying, “When I was an athlete, I did 20 sit-ups without a single break.” Jeon Hyun-moo and Park Myung-soo playfully challenged him to provide video evidence.

As the training intensified, Coach Hwang proposed an impromptu dumbbell-lifting contest. If athlete Song Min-ki won, training would end early. However, Coach Hwang, lifting a total of 104kg with two 52kg dumbbells, easily secured victory, showcasing his enduring strength and declaring, “Old soldiers never die,” much to everyone’s amusement.

After the grueling training, Coach Hwang prepared 4 million KRW worth of beef for his athletes. He encouraged them, saying, "The 2026 Asian Games are not far away. Eat well, gain strength, and achieve great results," adding a heartwarming touch. The show airs every Sunday at 4:40 PM on KBS 2TV.

Netizens commented, 'Shim Ji-won is showing great business sense at such a young age! He seems like a perfect successor to Chairman Im Chae-moo,' 'It's fascinating that Outsider has become an animal entrepreneur. A tortoise worth hundreds of millions of won is truly incredible,' and 'Jeon Hyun-moo is still full of energy in Turkey! The hamam massage scene was hilarious.'
