Broadcaster Lee Hye-sung Appointed as Ambassador for 'Love's Fruit' Community Chest

Broadcaster Lee Hye-sung has been appointed as a new ambassador for the Community Chest of Korea, also known as 'Love's Fruit,' aiming to further promote the culture of giving.

The appointment ceremony took place at the Love's Fruit headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul. Lee Hye-sung expressed her honor, stating, 'It is a privilege to be part of an endeavor where good intentions connect. I will strive to convey the value of sharing and warm-heartedness to many people in the future.'

Hwang In-sik, the Secretary-General of Love's Fruit, remarked, 'Lee Hye-sung is a broadcaster who has received public affection for her positive influence. We anticipate her becoming a source of strength for more citizens to participate in sharing as an ambassador.'

Leveraging her expertise as a former announcer and her public trust, Lee Hye-sung will engage in various talent donation activities, including narrating promotional videos for Love's Fruit. She plans to deliver messages of sharing easily and warmly to the public through broadcasts and online platforms.

Lee Hye-sung has consistently practiced philanthropy. During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, she donated masks through the Seoul branch of Love's Fruit. More recently, on her YouTube channel 'Lee Hye-sung's 1% Book Club,' she expressed her aspiration to become a member of the 'Honor Society,' a group of major donors, while conversing with instructor Choi Tae-sung, an existing member.

'I have always been very interested in sharing. This appointment is not just an honor but a starting point for action,' Lee Hye-sung added. 'I believe that even small actions, when continued consistently, can make society a little warmer.'

Currently, Love's Fruit has approximately 40 ambassadors, including actors Chae Shi-ra and Park Young-gyu, magician Choi Hyun-woo, and chef Lee Yeon-bok, all actively contributing to spreading the culture of sharing through talent donations, campaign participation, and media appearances.
