Singer Sung Si-kyung Suffers Financial Damages from 10-Year Manager; Agency Investigating

Singer Sung Si-kyung has reportedly suffered financial damages from a manager he had worked with for approximately 10 years. The manager in question has since resigned.

Sung Si-kyung's agency, SK Jaewon, released an official statement on the 3rd, stating, "It has been confirmed that the former manager engaged in acts that betrayed the company's trust during their employment."

It was revealed that the manager, who had collaborated with Sung Si-kyung for about a decade, caused financial harm not only to the singer but also to related personnel and external vendors.

Regarding the matter, Sung Si-kyung's side explained, "Following an internal investigation, we recognized the seriousness of the situation and are currently verifying the exact scope of the damages. The employee in question has already resigned."

The agency added, "We take responsibility for management and supervision and are reorganizing our internal management system to prevent similar incidents from recurring. We deeply apologize to our fans for causing concern."
