Actor Kim Min-jun Hopes Son Eden Takes After Uncle G-Dragon

Actor Kim Min-jun shared his hopes for his son Eden's future, mentioning his famous uncle, G-Dragon.

On the Channel A show 'Best Friend Documentary - A Table for Four,' aired on the 3rd, Kim Min-jun was invited to Park Joong-hoon's home along with Huh Jae.

When asked about his parenting style, Kim Min-jun said, "I run a small business personally, so I can make a lot of time for my child. Recently, my son asked, 'Dad, what exactly is your job?' It was hard to explain it in detail, and I broke into a sweat," he recalled with a laugh.

Park Kyung-lim brought up G-Dragon, Kim Min-jun's brother-in-law, saying, "Jiyong is so fond of his nephew. He sometimes posts pictures on social media." Kim Min-jun explained, "When our child was born, I declared that we should let him decide whether to reveal his face when he's old enough to discern. I think that's our role to protect him. So, we were all in unanimous agreement and never posted anything, but suddenly my brother-in-law started posting first."

He continued, "When he started posting, I resisted strongly, saying, 'We agreed not to post, why did you post it?' He replied, 'I didn't hear that.' So, he became quite well-known," Kim Min-jun elaborated.

Park Kyung-lim then asked about Eden's talents, given that his father is an actor, his mother is a fashion designer, and his uncle is a world-famous singer. "Personally, I hope he takes after his uncle," Kim Min-jun admitted, adding, "But whatever he does, he'll probably do well."

When asked if there were any signs of talent, Kim Min-jun said, "I don't know yet. But my mother-in-law, in a way, is a star-maker. She took care of Jiyong from a young age, so her judgment is accurate, isn't it? I asked her if Eden shows similar potential to Jiyong at that age. She said, 'Jiyong had much more talent then,'" he shared with a hint of regret.
