Kim Min-jun Recalls First Meeting with Kwon Da-mi: 'Thought a Sports Car Was Charging, But It Was My Wife'

Actor Kim Min-jun has revealed details about his first encounter with his wife, Kwon Da-mi, who is widely known as the sister of singer G-Dragon.

Appearing on the Channel A show 'Best Friends Documentary - Table for Four' on the 3rd, Kim Min-jun invited actor Park Joong-hoon and basketball player Heo Jae to his home.

When asked about his first meeting with Kwon Da-mi, Kim Min-jun shared, "We saw each other a lot on the street. I used to frequent a friend's house with his wife. One day, I was crossing the road with my motorcycle, wearing a leather jacket and carrying my helmet. Suddenly, a high-performance sports car charged towards me without slowing down. I was terrified. I thought a hot-blooded, manly guy was driving, so I gripped my helmet tightly and glared. When the car stopped, it was a woman. Later, I realized it was my wife," he recalled.

Park Joong-hoon then asked if he knew she was G-Dragon's sister at the time. Kim Min-jun replied, "A junior colleague mentioned it. She said she was Ji-yong's sister. I just thought, 'Oh, really?' and that was it. But then, my wife also had a close friend living in the apartment next to that friend's house, so she visited often, and we seemed to have crossed paths a few times there." He continued, "My wife thought, 'Kim Min-jun seems like a good guy,' and asked if anyone around her knew Kim Min-jun. It turned out all her juniors were my close juniors, which naturally led to a blind date."

Kim Min-jun also revealed that his wife's personality has changed since they had a child. He explained, "I wondered why people's personalities change after having a son. Our son is 4 years old, so he's very lively. While playing with him, sometimes he'd spill something. Then, somewhere, she'd appear and scold him along with me. It's like I'm the first child and he's the second." He added, "A home should be relaxed to ease tension, but everything in my house is meticulously organized. I told my wife to fix it, to be more relaxed."

He further elaborated, "If there are hairs, they should be cleaned up in the evening. But I find myself picking them up the moment I see them. I do it thinking, 'My wife will do it anyway.'" Hearing this, Park Joong-hoon humorously remarked, "It seems like you're afraid of your wife?"

Kim Min-jun married fashion designer Kwon Da-mi in 2019, and they have a son together.
