A brief notice posted on his official YouTube channel, 'Sung Si-kyung SUNG SI KYUNG,' on the 4th read, 'We will be taking a break from YouTube for one week. We apologize.' This hiatus is understood to be directly linked to the incident involving his former manager, which came to light on the 3rd.

Sung's agency, SK Jaewon, confirmed that the former manager engaged in actions that violated the company's trust during their professional duties. This individual had been a key figure, managing Sung's concerts, broadcasts, advertisements, and events for over a decade, and is accused of causing financial losses to Sung and related external parties.

The agency expressed remorse for their oversight, stating, 'We take responsibility for management and supervision, and are reorganizing our internal management system to prevent recurrence.' They also extended a deep apology to fans for the concern caused.

Following the news, Sung Si-kyung shared his complex emotions on social media. 'Experiencing a breach of trust from someone I believed in and cherished is still not easy,' he wrote. 'I tried to pretend I was okay while continuing with YouTube and performance schedules, but I felt my body and mind were greatly hurt.'
