Son Yeon-jae, Former Rhythmic Gymnast, Shares Date Night with 9-Year Older Husband: 'Why Aren't We Dating?'

Son Yeon-jae, a former national rhythmic gymnast, has shared a glimpse of her long-awaited date night with her husband.

In a YouTube video uploaded on her channel 'Son Yeon-jae' on the 3rd, titled 'VLOG Even Though We're Married, I Still Want to Go on Dates,' she beamed, stating, "Today, I'm going on a date with my husband. We used to go on dates so much. That's why I used to tell my husband every day, 'Oppa, why aren't we dating?'"

The video shows Son Yeon-jae applying light makeup before heading out with her husband to watch a performance of 'OVO' by Cirque du Soleil. As they walked to the venue, sharing an umbrella, she recalled, "I came to see this performance even when I was pregnant with Jun-yeon. After the first act, my stomach really hurt, but I didn't say anything because I thought he might suggest going home if I complained."

Upon entering the venue, Son Yeon-jae looked at her husband and smiled, noting their resemblance: "You're cute. For a moment, I thought you were Jun-yeon." After the show, when she asked, "Wasn't it fun?" her husband responded with a thumbs-up.

Son Yeon-jae added, "It felt even better today because it felt like a date after a long time. "It was raining, and I almost thought about not leaving Jun-yeon, but I think it's good to have time alone with my husband. Thank you, Mom, for taking care of our baby."

Born in 1994, Son Yeon-jae married a finance professional nine years her senior in September 2022 and welcomed their son in February of last year.
