BOYNEXTDOOR Achieves Historic 5 Consecutive Billboard 200 Entries with 'The Action'

Global sensation BOYNEXTDOOR has made history by charting their fifth consecutive album on the Billboard 200, the main album chart in the United States.

According to Billboard's official social media announcement on November 4th, their latest mini-album ‘The Action’ secured the 40th position on the November 8th dated chart. This marks a significant jump of 22 spots from their previous release, ‘No Genre,’ which ranked 62nd.

This latest achievement solidifies BOYNEXTDOOR's impressive streak, following their entries with ‘WHY..’ (162nd), ‘HOW?’ (93rd), ‘19.99’ (40th), and ‘No Genre’ (62nd). This continuous presence on the Billboard 200 is a unique feat among K-pop groups who debuted around the same time, underscoring their rapidly growing global popularity.

‘The Action’ has also dominated sales charts, surpassing 1.04 million copies in its first week (Hanteo Chart) to achieve their third consecutive million-selling album. The album topped various Korean music charts, including Hanteo and Circle, and secured the number one spot on Apple Music's 'Popular Albums' in Korea for the week of October 21st-27th.

In Japan, ‘The Action’ also showcased strong performance, reaching second place on both Billboard Japan's 'Top Album Sales' and Oricon's 'Weekly Album Ranking' and 'Weekly Combined Album Ranking' for the respective tracking periods.

The title track, ‘Hollywood Action,’ has also climbed the charts, reaching new personal bests on major platforms like Melon (daily 36th, weekly 21st, currently 19th) and Japan's Line Music ('Weekly Song Top 100' at 6th), and maintaining a presence on China's QQ Music 'New Song Chart'.

BOYNEXTDOOR is set to continue their global engagement with performances at the ‘2025 MAMA AWARDS’ in Hong Kong and the ‘COUNTDOWN JAPAN 25/26’ festival in Tokyo.
