In a message posted to his YouTube channel's community tab, Sung Si-kyung confessed, "I experienced a breach of trust from someone I believed in, cherished, and loved like family," adding, "The past few months have been a continuous stretch of deeply painful and difficult times."

He further explained the profound impact, stating, "My body, mind, and even my voice have been greatly harmed." Consequently, he announced a one-week hiatus from uploading new YouTube content.

His agency, SK Jaewon, confirmed, "It has been verified that the former manager engaged in acts that betrayed the company's trust during their employment." The agency added, "Following an internal investigation, we recognized the severity of the matter and are currently assessing the exact scope of the damages." The employee in question has since resigned, and the company is reportedly reorganizing its internal management systems to prevent recurrence.
